Top DIY Projects Of 2012

December 27, 2012 By Sherry

Hi everyone.

I am joining Rhoda at  Southern Hospitality for the Top DIY Projects of
2012 party .

My projects this year were few and far between though I do have a few
to share with you.

Carol at The Polka Dot Closet  hosted a Dress Form Ball and of course
Penelope Rose  joined in the fun.

After much trial and error I finally found a way  to dye sea fans with
vibrant color and no flaking. This Spring the Dyed Sea Fans will be for sale
again on Etsy.

I made pillows to add some color to our newly painted family room.

Framed antique French Letters.

Summer Mantle with  new architectural piece.

 Framed Intaglios.

Painted a new chalkboard.

Adding Patina to this Ex-Voto

I featured my collection of  Fall Decor.

I jumped on the bandwagon and made velvet pumpkins.

2012 Christmas decor.

Thanks to Rhoda for hosting the Top DIY Projects party.

Happy New Year!

Love the two frames in a frame with the French Letters. The old truck with the Christmas trees too. And the dress form was my favorite, Sherry.

Hi Sherry, Happy New Year to you and Steve and family. You did a lot of beautiful projects this past year. When I look back I can't believe I redid the family room and porch. I still need to take photos for you. Our New Year's will be quiet and the only festive thing I will be wearing is my new Christmas pajamas. :)Yep, grandson was born yesterday. She had a rough time of it but is doing fine now. He's a big boy too. Gary is so proud. Her Mom is there now, so we will head up there as soon as they settle in at home with baby Wheeler. Colin put up board and batten in the baby's room and I painted the room linen and white while we were there at Thanksgiving. He did a beautiful job on the nursery and the decor is so quiet and serene with a touch of blue. Can't wait to get up there! And I hope I get to see you soon too. xoxo
