Another French Chair and Pillow

I caved in from all the pressure and attempted another transfer project.  This project was a lot easier than my French Chair DIY… thank goodness no sewing.

I don’t have before pictures ..sorry.
I painted and distressed the chair and added the iron on transfer to a piece of leftover drop cloth.
This pillow is another small  project using burlap. For this one I cut out a stencil using freezer paper and painted the pillow with fabric paint. Can you believe I actually sewed something? Just don’t look to closely.
I thought the pillow fit perfectly with this French country bench.

  1. What a great job you did. You say, "I cut out a stencil and painted it on" just like anyone can do it. Where in the world did you get those great French stencils? Thanks for sharing.

  2. I love the chair. It is a versatile design and your transfer makes it unique. Love your blog. My friend says I have a "chair sickness"…my eye is drawn to them everywhere I treasure hunt and usually at least one comes home.

  3. omgoodness! i remember seeing your white chairs & custom pillow top around blogland. they are gorgeous.
