Clearwater Beach In January

It’s 83 degrees today in Central Florida!
Last Summer I was dying from the heat but this time of year I
cherish it.  A couple of days ago Steve flew back to Virginia and he
wasn’t happy about going back to Winter weather.
Thanks for all the kind (and funny) comments on our recent trip to
Tarpon Springs.  We finished up our weekend by visiting Clearwater
Beach.  After a yummy seafood lunch we walked along the beach
and enjoyed the beautiful weather.
Unknown family enjoying the beach.
There were even a few people in the ocean.

There were still lots of people at the beach as the sun went down.
Not a bad way to spend a weekend in January!
I hope you are enjoying the Winter season.

  1. I used to take all of that for granted when we lived in FT. Lauderdale, now, i miss it terribly, and would love to be at the beach. Cold weather is fun for when you visit for a few days, but having it everyday is miserable.

  2. Hi Sherry
I'm your newest follower and I just left a comment on your Tuesday "Party" post.
Lovely to see a view of your beach in Florida – please come over and see me where I've got some pics of our beach in New Zealand – it's quite different!

Looking forward to joining in your psrty next week!
    hugs

  3. So glad you are enjoying your new life in Fl…actually, we've been pretty blessed here in Va (southeastern Va that is) with mild weather! But still, it seems cold compared to 83! Blessings, Lorraine
PS…will you be at Haven? I'd love to meet you in person!

  4. That's my family in the photo! I'm the pretty young shapely gal in the middle with the perky *girls* about spilling over from my top. Yeah really. On the beach I my dreams anyway….

  5. I can't blame your husband for not wanting to come back up here to VA. It's been rainy and gloomy for several days! The temps aren't bad but you really can't say that the weather is nice when it's this yucky! I would love to be down there right now! Florida! Come get me! LOL Hugs, Leena

  6. ahhh how fun!!!!
I went to school in Deland, so this was a trip to home territory!! My youngest son is in Orlando, so when I trek there from Texas, we always go to Winter Park window shopping :^)
Thanks for a walk down memory lane.
    Blessings,
    J
