Easter Brunch With Crescent Roll “Carrots”

I hope you are having a happy Easter.
Our son, daughter-in-law and grandkids came over for Easter brunch.  I made these
cute bird nest I found over at Our Adventures In Home Improvement.

We also had crescent roll “carrots” filled with homemade chicken salad and fresh fruit.  Thanks to Living My life On Purpose for sharing how to make the “carrots”.

The banana bread was delicious!  The secret to making it moist is substituting applesauce for the eggs and oil.  The ham and cheese quiche was the last thing to make it to the table and I completely forgot to take a picture.

We all enjoyed a casual brunch and spending time together as a family.

I hope your day was special!

  1. Oh my gosh those crescent rolls look amazing and I have to try them. So happy to hear that you had a peaceful Easter. I did as well despite the fact that I ate way too much!!

  2. Sherry, your Easter brunch looks delicious. I used to make the little bird's nests for my students each year. This post make me smile with sweet memories.
