Fall Food, Win & Giveaway

If you haven’t entered my giveaway for a $200 gift certificate to Modern Bird Studios you can still enter HERE.

There is just something about cooler weather and turning leaves that makes me want to cook something.  Yesterday I made a large pot of homemade beef and vegetable soup.  This is such comfort food and great for this time of year.

I don’t bake often mainly because we don’t need the extra calories.  I decided yesterday in the spirit of Fall to make pumpkin bread. Of course I had to put a little vignette together with my blue and white transferware!

See the gorgeous French damask napkins?   I was the lucky winner of Laura’s giveaway at  Decor To Adore  and  Metis Linens .  Thank you so much Laura!

  2. Hey Sherry! Did you take pictures of your soups? If you did it would be so fun to have you join our Soup Exchange this weekend! 🙂

  5. Hi Sherry,
I came by earlier but my post wouldn't go through… so here I am again… I just ADORE your blue and white!!! I am seriously thinking of starting a collection… I have red, and green, I think I should start on the blue too!! 🙂 It is delightful!! Your pumpkin bread looks delicious! Funny thing, I made pumpkin bread this weekend too!!! Everything looks just beautiful!! Hope your week is going great!! 🙂

  6. Hi Sherry, you know I'm a sucker for blue and white in any form – but that pitcher is perfect. Loving those napkins, weren't you lucky to win them! I can only imagine that pumpkin bread tastes wonderful, I'd love to make some but I've never seen canned pumpkin in the UK. I read somewhere that fresh cooked pumpkin is too watery to use.
    Enjoy your week

  10. Haven't had much time to blog hop this week but wanted to stop in and say hello. You are too cute pulling out your transferware for pumpkin bread. Your vignette is beautiful & congrats on winning those linens. Did I see mention of a giveaway up top? I'll have to investigate…

Have a great rest of the week,

  11. Love your beautiful blue and white pieces. My sis has a set of the brown. I posted the winner of the truck contest my sisters and I had back in September. I also am having a give away for my 100th blog in just a few days so hope you will be able to come by for a visit. Debbie

  12. Beautiful setting!! I LOVE your blue and white transferware!! And the bread looks so good. I "try" not to make those yummy calorie-laden treats too, but if I don't, then my mom will send something fattening over!

  13. Isn't transferware beautiful, your looks amazing. Your baking I'm sure was well worth the baking. I have a set of Brown Transferware I got last year at a garage sale. I love it.
