Hi everyone!
I hope you had a wonderful weekend.
Steve took dad to a political rally on Saturday so I took advantage of the
free time to attend The Fancy Flea vintage market. They hold this market
twice a year in downtown Lakeland, Fl. and Country Living Magazine named
it one of the top 10 vintage markets in the United States.
I have to agree it was a fabulous flea market with over 300 dealers lining the
streets in the historic downtown district. Below are just some of the pictures
I took at the market.
It was a great day and the weather was beautiful. The vendors seemed to be doing
really well, some were almost sold out three hours before the end of the show.
I’m having problems downloading pictures so I’ll be back later to show you more
of the market and my purchases.

I've always wanted to go the the Fancy Flea. I live in south FL and it's about a 3-4 hour drive. Do you live close? I first heard about it from Kim @ Daisy Cottage.

Oh to be able to go outside in shorts! I hardly noticed the vendors! What I covet is WARMTH! LOL!

Great pictures, Sherry! I'm glad you were able to get out and about. I'm sure the weather is just wonderful there right now. I should be so lucky to sell out before the market ends when I do mine in a couple of weeks. : )

That looks like a girls weekend trip to me! And a doable one from Alabama. Lakeland's still a bit far down the road, but not as far as so many of the best flea markets. Thanks for sharing!

I used to live near Lakeland and they have wonderful shops downtown…I will have to check to see when the next one is…sounds like it would be worth the trip!
