My Finished FARRAGOZ Painting

I hope everyone is doing well. You may remember my previous post about being offered the opportunity
to review the Farragoz Adding Patina art course
It has been fun learning to make my own gesso, paints and stains and it is amazing
how simple and inexpensive they are.  The course also teaches you how to layer
paints to get the patina of antique pieces. My first completed project is the Byzantine Icon below painted with oil paints
made using the instructions provided in the course.

Below is the example I followed from Farragoz.  Mine is not identical but they
do stress making the project your own.

There are a total of five projects included in the course, including this large clock
I’ll be making next.

Thanks for visiting and you can get more info on the Farragoz course HERE.

The course was given to me for review and all comments are my own.

  1. You did a beautiful job Sherry. I've been following Rosemary's journey thru the Farragoz course too. I want to take it but will need to wait until things slow down a little here. Can't wait to see your clock. Blessings,
