Open House Party – Rita at  May Day

Welcome to the first Open House Party.
I hope everyone had a wonderful NewYears and I can’t wait to see
all your upcoming projects for 2012.
Thank you so much for visiting!
I am excited to be featuring the beautiful home of  Rita at  May Days as the first home tour for 2012.  I was hooked on Rita’s blog the moment I saw her header with a wall of amazing blue and white transferware.
Thank you Rita for sharing your lovely home with us.
  Enjoy the tour.
I feel like we are kindred spirits.
See the creative way she used a chicken feeder to display plates?
Rita and her husband created all this wonderful storage using cabinets from her nieces kitchen remodel.
aahhh!
I hope you enjoyed the tour and please visit  May Days to see more of this
pretty home and Rita’s amazing collections.

  4. Beautiful home Rita has! I love the blue and white dishes especially the flow blue ones and my favorite part of the house is the cabinets with chicken wire front. It's a great storage for dishes….Christine

  5. Sherry, thank you for featuring May Days beautiful home. I'm one of her long time followers. I enjoyed seeing that amazing storage cabinet in the kitchen and the clever use of the feeder. That blue cabinet is gorgeous as are the features in her home.

  6. Thanks so much, Sherry.
I love her millions of blue and white plates around her hutch…I noticed the clear glass collection inside the hutch doesn't distract from her plates. Very smart….and pretty.

  7. Happy New Year Sherry! You know how much I love blue and white transferware. Rita's entry is simply gorgeous. The plate rack is brilliant.

  12. Hi Sherry, Somehow I didn't realize you were going to feature my home. I thought just one picture of one of my rooms along with many from others. I'm overwhelmed with this special feature as well as all the very generous comments. You are so gracious to showcase MAY DAYS on your beautiful blog. You can see that I'm no minimalist either! Thank you, thank you.
    (((Hugs)) to all!

I'm linking up a tiny little project–about the only thing I've accomplished so far this year! Better something small than nothing at all, I suppose. Thanks so much for hosting!
