Run Over By A Dump Truck & The Polka Dot Flea

Not really….but that is exactly how I felt for a few days after the Polka Dot Flea.
We took 22 large plastic bins full of stuff, six pieces of furniture and lots of miscellaneous items that would
not fit in the bins.  The 10′ U-haul was filled to the brim! I couldn’t be happier with our sales and Steve is
excited to get all this stuff out of the garage. We came home with only four bins and one small unsold table.
It’s a good thing we had room in the U-haul on the way home for the kitchen table we purchased
from the show.  I’ll be back later to show you my new table.
Carol at The Polka Dot Closet did an amazing job pulling this event together and it was a HUGE success.
Below are pictures of my space and there are lots more pictures of the flea at Carol’s blog.  Make sure and
visit The Polka Dot Closet to see pictures of all the booths and more.
It was fun to meet readers of my blog and other bloggers.  I appreciate everyone that stopped by to say hello.

Thanks for visitng and all your kind comments about my mother-in-law.  She had surgery Tuesday and Steve
is in Alabama with her.  Sara is the sweetest lady and the best MIL any gal could ask for.  Luckily, the doctors don’t think the cancer has spread and she will not need chemo or radiation. Our family appreciates your well wishes and prayers.
Have a great weekend!

  1. Sherry!!! Your space looks amazing! You had so many great items for sale. Gosh, girl, you have been so busy with moving, parental care and getting ready for the Polka Dot Flea! Thanks for sharing those flea photos.

  2. WOW, you had some great items for sale in your booth. I guess it is a good thing that I couldn't go due how far you are from me. I would have spent a lot of money there LOL.
So glad that your MIL is doing so well.
Looking forward to seeing your "new table". Have a great weekend.

  3. Oh I see so many cute things for sale! Wish I could've shopped there. What a relief for you that your MIL is on the mend and her prognosis is good. Cancer is such a scary thing!

  4. Looks great. Did you sell the bird pictures with the amazing frames? Very cool…
On another note, I think the list where you're parting at is really fun! Thanks for sharing.

  5. I love everything in your booth. No wonder you sold out. So happy for you. It's always fun to do a market and meet so many people. I totally can relate to the run over by a truck, but it's so worth it.

  6. Congrats on your sale! I'll bet it feels great getting rid of stuff and actually seeing others want your things. Your set up looked really good – I would've definitely bought a few things myself! That's a lot of hard work there, for certain! Enjoy your weekend.
